Where is my data stored?
In a local database on your device. Flashy makes no network requests — your cards never leave your phone. Deleting the app deletes the data.
Does the AI send my notes anywhere?
No. Card generation runs entirely on your device using the built-in AI in modern iPhones — your notes never leave your phone, and it works offline. It needs a recent iPhone with Apple Intelligence; on older devices you can still write and import cards as usual.
Can I move my decks over from Anki or Quizlet?
Yes. Flashy imports Anki .apkg and .colpkg packages (images included), Anki .txt exports, CSV files, and text pasted from Quizlet’s export screen.
What is FSRS?
Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler — an open, modern algorithm that models your memory to pick the ideal moment for each review. It’s the scheduler serious learners switch to; Flashy uses it out of the box.
